Camden is a wonderful community located in the heart of Carroll County Indiana. Camden is a great place to live and raise a family. Beautiful shade trees line the well maintained streets of Camden. Camden has a fine park and very active Little League and softball program. Camden’s Women’s Literary Society is one of the oldest in the state and welcomes new members. The Jackson Township Library in the center of Camden is a well stocked facility and has a beautiful new addition. The Camden Preservation Society is very active in not only preservation of Camden’s beauty and culture, but also is active in promoting improvements in the community. Camden has fine local government headed by the Camden Town Council. Under their leadership the community has recently made many upgrades to their water, sewage, and street systems.
